I would just like to say thank you to everyone who was at the meeting today.  Everyone made this a day that I will remember forever.  Today has reaffirmed my thoughts about captive breeding and I am proud to day that I am a marine hobbiest.  Thank you to Tal, Chad, Mike, and the Matts for making today a wonderful day.

WOW! What a great event!

I want to thank everyone that showed up from all over, we had an excellent turn out! It was nice to see regular members and meet some new people that came from other states.

The presentations by both Matts inspired and educated everyone to keep raising the bar of captive breeding. I think that everyone that attended came away with some piece of information that they didn't come with.

Thank you to MASNA and REED Mariculture for supporting this event! Hopefully more clubs around the country take advantage of this Great program.

Thanks as well to Blue Fish Aquarium of Grand Rapids for donating beverages for everyone that attended.

Most of all, a HUGE thank you to Matt Wittenrich and Matt Pedersen for taking the time to speak for us at the Workshop as well as helping us with the MBI program. We couldn't have done it without you guys! You two have really made a huge impact on everyone.

Now, let's breed some fish!!!

Definitely a great program.  The presentations were very informative and inspiring.  It was good to meet MP and Witt and many other members and friends of MASM and the MBI.

I would have to agree that the workshop was great. I am glad to put faces to names on this forum and I look forward to some exciting times in our endeavour to make the marine fish hobby even more rewarding. The workshop made me even more excited to try my hand at breeding and raising saltwater fish. My wife's dream is to breed and raise some v-tail groupers. I would guess groupers are already raised for food? Wonder if there are any places where I could research that and try to use proven techniques to bring yet another species into the world of captive ornamental breeding? Any help on that would be appreciated. BTW, we have had a pair of them before, but a power outage while we were away on a ski trip last Winter ruined that. We have 1 now doing well and will add a mate soon and try again.

Just a huge thank you to MP and Witt, Blue fish Aquarium, Reed, MASNA, The MASM crew, and especially everyone that attended this event in making it such a huge success and hopefully the first of many like it.

I'm happy to see so many people had a good time and learned a great deal and hope to see more and more people get involved in captive breeding in the near future.

I would also like to thank both Matts, Reed, Bluefish, and MASNA for such wonderful event.  I really learned a lot this weekend and really enjoyed the entire experience.

I would like to thank Chad Penny, Tal Sweet and the other board of directors of MASM that made this event possible.  Without all of their efforts and hard work put into this organization it wouldn't be as great as it is.

My personal and sincere thanks to Chad, Tal, Mike and Jeremy and everyone in MI for making this a great trip. It is always fantastic to see and talk to such a large group of dedicated hobbyist's. It was a great trip and, I too, am home with a renewed excitement.

Sorry I don't have any.. Too bad we didn't get Jarrod or Mike P to come. We would have gotten some nice shots then.
