Why are all of my zoanthids closing up?

Over the past few months I have noticed several of my zoanthid colonies close up and never reopen. I do have Asterina Starfish in my tank and these may be affecting the zoanthids. The strange thing is that only round polyp colonies are closing up. This is only affecting my zoanthid colonies and nothing else. Are the asterina snails the problem?

I wish I knew. I have had some colonies do the same, I move them here and there to no avail. Yet the other zoas and palys are doing just fine! It is irritating. AJ
