Forums Back On-line -5/17/2008: The forums are now back on-line. I still have a few minor tweaks to perform but the important functionality is working correctly. Membership Subscription Change -12/7/2007: In an effort to further organize the club we have changed the PayPal account number associated with member dues. This means that those of you who's dues are payed automatically through PayPal will need to visit the MASM website to renew your membership. You'll only need to do this once, the system will renew your membership automatically (if you wish) the next time it is due. You will get an e-mail notication two weeks prior to your renewal date. No-take marine reserves where fishing is banned can have benefits that extend beyond the exploited fishes they are specifically designed to protect, according to new evidence from Australia's Great Barrier Reef. Researchers have found that outbreaks of large, predatory crown-of-thorns starfish, which can devastate coral reefs although they don't yet know exactly why. |
